Photography taught me to observe. Life gave me something to say.

Welcome to Lens & Life.

For more than four decades, photography has been my way of understanding the world. It has taken me into sporting arenas, busy streets, quiet country towns and places where remarkable stories are found in ordinary moments. Along the way, it taught me one simple lesson:

If you slow down long enough, life will always give you something worth seeing.

Lens & Life is where those observations find a voice.

This isn't a photography website, although photography will always be at its heart. It's a place where images become conversations and experiences become perspective. Through travel, sport, creativity, current affairs and everyday life, I explore the people, places and ideas that shape who we are.

Some days you'll find a photograph and the story behind it.

Other days it might be a documentary from a Balinese market before sunrise, an observation from an AFL match, a conversation about politics, or a simple reflection inspired by something I noticed while walking with a camera.

The subject isn't what matters.

The perspective is.

Photography has given me far more than a career. It has taught me patience, curiosity, empathy and the importance of listening before speaking. Those lessons now influence every piece of content I create, whether it's a photograph, a podcast, a film or a written journal.

If there's one thing I hope you'll take away from Lens & Life, it's this:

The world is full of extraordinary stories hidden inside ordinary moments.

You don't need to travel to the other side of the world to find them.

You simply need to stop, observe and look a little closer.
